A MATCHED PAIR of One Dollar ALABAMA notes 1st Series issued January 1, 1863 Civil War issue. Handcut notes are crisp UNCIRCULATED. Originally cut from the SAME SHEET they have serial numbers 76623F and 76623G. Stamped with the word “ONE” in green ink for additional security at time of issue. These notes has been in the estate of an old Alabama family since the Civil War. Guaranteed original.
